A major bulk earthworks package at an operating mine site: a tailings storage facility raise and associated water storage works, delivered with a scraper-based fill spread and full support fleet on a tight program. You own the site record end to end. Inspection and test plans, lot and conformance records, set-out and survey coordination, compaction and NATA materials testing to the specified frequencies, daily records and progress claim support, then as-constructed records and the manufacturer's data report through to practical completion. You work alongside a senior supervisor and report into RIG project management.
Flights ex Brisbane, camp and meals covered. Discretionary project performance bonus paid on delivery outcomes. Initial engagement approximately three months, with a pathway into longer term roles with RIG.
A civil engineering qualification or the site record that outranks one. An earthworks or dams background, and QA documentation habits that survive audit. Current driver licence, able to clear a mine site medical and inductions. Contracting on your own ABN with your own insurances.
